This tool converts a Word (.docx) document into a PDF that opens the same way on any phone, computer or printer. It reads your headings, paragraphs, lists and tables, and uses the page size and margins from your document.

It is a simplified converter, not Microsoft Word itself. Pictures, text boxes, headers and footers and unusual layouts may not carry over, so check the PDF before you send it.

Frequently asked questions

Does it accept old .doc files?

No. Only .docx files are supported. In Word, choose Save As and pick the .docx format first.

Do I need Microsoft Word installed?

No. The conversion happens on our server, so you do not need any Office software.

Will my formatting be identical?

Text, headings, lists and tables are kept. Pictures, text boxes and complex layouts may differ, so review the result.

Are my files kept?

Your document is processed temporarily to create the PDF and is not kept or shared.

Your files. Uploaded files are processed in server memory to produce your result and are not saved, analysed or shared.

Scan to Word (OCR). The first pages of your file are sent as images to Google Cloud Vision to recognise text.

Logs. Our host (Google Cloud) keeps standard request logs such as IP address, time and URL for security and operations. We don't require an account.

Ads & Cookies. We use Google AdSense to fund this free service. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
